DAA & IBDPE 2021 Intensive Course: Pre-Calculus

Introduction to the course:
A course in pre-calculus is a gateway to other, more advanced courses in mathematics devoted to the study of functions and limits, broadly called mathematical analysis. All the high-school students in Taiwan have the fundamental knowledge of pre-calculus, including exponential & logarithmic problem solving, trigonometric functions, etc. Therefore, pre-calculus is not a required subject of study for the local students in NCKU. This course is particularly designed to help an international student and overseas Chinese student develop the solid foundation in the topics of pre-calculus that one will need to excel in one’s undergraduate studies, including calculus, engineering mathematics, etc., in NCKU.
Charge of the course: FREE of CHARGE

Eligibility:
1. An international degree student, or an overseas Chinese student, in NCKU who fails either Calculus (1) or Calculus (2) is eligible to apply the subject.
2. An international degree student, or an overseas Chinese student, who is accepted as a FRESHMAN in NCKU in 2021 fall semester, is eligible to apply the subject.
